My Grandmother was in the facility for less than 6 months. She was in the assisted living area for a while until she fell. She did not break anything but they insisted she go to their convalescent home. She had nothing wrong with her. After one week in the convalescent home, she was hospitalized with kidney failure. She was removed from the hospital and returned to the convalescent home where she was deprived of food and water because she could not swallow. They would not intervene with an IV and my uncle, Dom Romano, who had the power of attorney insisted no intervention be done. This Catholic convalescent home complied and dehydrated my grandmother to death. She died yesterday. The convalescent home received 200,000 dollars of my grandmother's money for two weeks of care. They made her sign over the money the day she entered the convalescent part of the home.

My grandfather is in this facility right now and we are doing everything we can to get him out. He is there for rehab due to his failing health and these people are doing absolutely nothing to help him. Went to visit him today to find out not one single person of their staff visited him at all except once in the morning to plunk him in a wheelchair and give him half a pitcher of warm water and once to bring him in some kind of thickener drink in the afternoon. When we went to visit him in the evening he had been sitting in that wheel chair all day.He has a gentleman in his room that is completely obnoxious and screamed profanity all night long preventing my grandfather from getting any rest. He continued to scream profanity at him and us during our visit. I know he probably cannot help it but he should not be in a room with someone else. After repeated requests to have the gentleman removed, they did so but not very happily. They should not expect anyone to want to put up with that. Please think twice before sending your loved one here.
