This facility is the arm-pit of elderly care in this area. The bottom line (they are "for profit" means much more than providing a dignified end-of-life experience for its residents. Am trying right now to get mom somewhere else.

My parent and others on his wing are treated to day-long dose TV in the community / dining room. Activities are thin, few and far between. Aides just "sit" there literally and figuratively as if baby sitting and in some cases they are. My parent needs stimulation -- both mentally and physically and here he gets neither.

It may be because he is on the second floor which is not "public" -- what most visitors see upon entering the facility because the first floor is lively and filled with flowers and decorations. There are no flowers on my parent's floor.

Shame on the administration of this home.
