I chose Dr. Romig because I wanted the doctor who I visited for 9 months before giving birth to be the doctor who would deliver my son. Most doctors are a part of doctor groups so you don't know who you are going to get come delivery day. Dr. Romig delivers the babies of his patients. I was pleased with the care I received from Dr. Romig and I especially like his nurse. When I went to Good Sam to have my baby I asked all of the nurses who they thought was best and they said Dr. Romig. After trying to deliver naturally for two weeks I finally agreed to a C-section as i was two weeks overdue. I was so thankful that I chose that route as the baby's cord was wrapped around his neck. I felt Dr. Romig did a great job with my delivery and follow up care. My C-section scar is barely visible and plan to go back to him for future deliveries. His nurse Holly is great and provides a good balance to him. Dr. Romig also checked on me numerous times when I was in the hospital. The only thing I wish I had were more ultrasounds and also some of nurses were awesome at Good Sam and some were just okay. The Good Sam rooms are much nicer than Tacoma Gen's birthing rooms.

They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. They were absolutely amazing and make others in the same field look like beginners.

He is very professional and friendly but when I went into labor I experienced a series of seizures and no one understood what was happening and did nothing...and 44 and 1/2 hrs later (and no drugs) she was born (I had long since blacked out by then and had no clue what was going on) and they took her to the nursery to be checked out and gave me a shot so I would stay asleep (this is according to my late Mother and husband) and my husband shortly after that noticed the nurses complaining about 'that noisy Hamilton baby keeping the other babies awake with her screaming' and he walked in and promptly scooped her right out of the basinette and never looked back and refused to give her back, being the third child out of nine kids, he had more experience than all of those nurses put together and had zero tolerance for their complaining and knew she probably had birth trauma (which she was later diagnosed with, spending WAY too much time in the birth canal) he let me sleep for a good ten or twelve hours but then decided she needed to meet her Mother and asked where they had moved me and the night staff didn't know what he was talking about...(I'm completely serious) so he walked back to the delivery room and found me in the SAME room where I had had the baby and I was still passed out on the table, covered in blood...dried blood all over the floor. he was absolutely pissed...needless to say, we fired the doctor and never used that unprofessional hospital again...I couldn't lactate, the doctor had no clue why, my complications were due to a genetic disorder that required endocrine care which I got prior to having another baby and I'd never send someone I care about to this person or facility.
