They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. I started testosterone replacement therapy with Dr. LaCava's colleague who then left to join another practice. Dr. LaCava did not seem to be interested in anything other than diabetes, and often would not even say the word 'testosterone', instead just talking about 'male hormone'. I decided to find a doctor more interested in my problem, and my family physician is handling this issue for me very well.

He didn't give me the time of day and spoke in circles. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. He was verbally assulting and overall rude. He made comments about my body and heritage that were completely out of line. I have had to meet and speak with him on several occasions now due to wanting to complete the series of tests issued before moving on to another doctor. Finally I am done with him!
