It was not easy to reach them in an emergency. I had to call several times before I finally reached them. I didn't appreciate that they didn't take the time to explain my treatment's risks and benefits. I had to do my own research. They didn't treat their staff well at all. They were very rude and demanding and I could tell the staff was miserable. I was able to talk freely during my appointment without worrying about being judged or criticized. They were very supportive and understanding. In the middle of my consultation, they got up and left me alone for a very long time. I had no idea what they were doing or when they were coming back. Office staff threatens patients that service will be denied if complaints are made. No talking among patients is allowed in the waiting room (if you're complaining about the wait or poor level of service) they will kick you out and terminate you as a patient. They have you captive as Dr Jiminez is one of a few (literally) in the area that takes Medicaid! You have no choice but to obey!! It's a travesty and they should be penalized severely for their actions and attitudes!

Where to begin...I was seeing "Dr." Jimenez for my diagnoses of Bi-polar (type 1) and generalized anxiety disorder. The wait time (with an appt.) ranged from 3-6 hrs. He was not aware of the side-effects of the medications he was prescribing, and told me explicitly that the newer medication he put me on, Invega, had NO side-effects. The packet that came with the medicine clearly stated numerous and serious side-effects. When I mentioned this at my next appt. all I got in return was a dirty look followed by a derisive snort. He didn't even apologize for the bold-face lie! When I first started seeing him I informed him of my transportation issues and asked if this would be a problem. He assured me that if I missed an appt. or two, to call and he would authorize a refill over the phone because and I quote, "We don't want our patients suddenly going off their meds.". When I missed an appt. I had to reschedule for a later date. I'd like to point out that the only reason I "missed" the appt. was because his staff scheduled me for Sat, a day they weren't even open!! I made it for that "appt." and there must have been 5-6 other patients there when I arrived, all as upset as myself. I needed a refill, which was half the reason I was there, so I went to the pharmacy and explained that it would be approved over the phone. I was told by the pharmacy tech. that I was not approved for a refill and that I should call the "doctor" in advance next time to make sure I would be. (basically so I wouldn't waste her time) Utter humiliation aside, the the "doctor" had lied to me yet again. When I called to get an explanation, I was told without hesitation that I would not receive a refill without coming in to see the "doctor" and that they offered no such service anyway. The receptionist then told me to schedule an appt. and that he would write me a refill when I came in. When I mentioned that I had already made an appt. and the circumstances under which I "missed" the last one, she told me that she made those appts. herself and that couldn't have happened. So basically she was calling me a liar while at the same time trying to cover her ass for scheduling on a day they weren't open. The staff had been nothing but rude and dishonest, yet were audacious enough to imply that I had been untruthful. I was furious, here I had made every effort to get to this guy and now because of their screw-ups I was facing the very real prospect of having no medication for months. I should note, that my next appt. was 3 months away and I had only about a months worth of medications. My only option to get the meds. would have been to go to the emergency room, however this was not an option. Since there was no way for me to see the doctor to get a refill, I went through the worst withdrawals of my life, as I attempted to "wean" myself off the meds. The Invega was a time-release so the best I could manage was to take it every other and then every two days. I was also on 4 mg. of klonopin a day, and eventually started having grand-mal seizures because I was not properly "dosed-down". I have not seen this jerk since, and would strongly recommend against keeping/selecting him as your doctor. Run, don't walk as far away from this hack and his goons as fast as you can. Trust me, you'll be doing yourself a favor!

They weren't horribly inexperienced, but I was hoping for someone with more experience. I wasn't sure they'd be able to help me. They were a little too argumentative and angry. They didn't seem like they wanted to listen to almost everything I had to say. I can tell it is maybe not a top priority to maintain a professional appearance here. They didn't look terrible, but there is definitely lots of room for improvement. I didn't feel like the advice they were giving me was in my best interest. It felt very slanted and biased. They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling very confused and frustrated.

This clinic is the WORST experience of my life. We waited, along with many other frustrated families in the waiting room for 3 hours. Patients have to sign a form stating that if they complain in the waiting room or to other patients about anything at all they can no longer receive services at the office. WHERE ELSE IS MY DEPRESSED DAUGHTER SUPPOSED TO GO IF I COMPLAIN AND THEY KICK US OUT OF THE CLINIC. The children are frustrated, crying, complaining, acting up, kicking things..... every single one of them has to wait 3 hours to be seen by this doctor. He is very unethical. He came out on the news because he took his son's breathalizer test because he admitted his son had been drinking agains court mandated rules. THE WORST. He needs to have his business closed and his license revoked.

Was able to get appointment with him for initial appt in less than 6 months. Have gone 3 or 4 times now. Very long (>3 hr wait) each time. Unless you have time to kill in crowded uncomfortable waiting area suggest you try elsewhere.

Appt was at 11:00am on June 28th. There was no other patient in the office. All other patients that arrived were seen before me. When I asked at the front desk, they kept telling me not to step over the threshold. Employees were rude! Dr looks unprofessional, office is dirty, staff is rude. Veterinary clinics are much cleaner & professional that these people. Will never go back!!!!
