From my first meeting in his office it was a quick diagnosis and at that time we set the surgery up for a date that would work around my work / travel schedule. The surgery was performed at Jennersville Hospital. Their staff was great. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I was in and out in a matter of hours and my hernia was repaired successfully.I would recommend Dr. Tayoun to anyone. He is very friendly, knowledgable, more importantly he listened to me and then and talked to me in layman's terms to explain my condition.

Dr. Tayoun is a wonderful doctor and individual. His bedside manner is better than I have ever experienced before, and he takes the time each person needs to be confident and comfortable with procedures and the recovery process. His staff are friendly, accommodating, and professional in all aspects from arranging you initial appointments & followup visits to when you visit in the office. They are super.

Surgery was most excellent! However, entered ER on a Sunday night; ruptured appendix, not operated on until late the following day, released 10 days later. great care while in IC unit. I appreciate the care of your staff (with one exception, one nurse seemed quite over stressed with her duties and it was ill reflected in how she connected with this patient, but that's life, and I'm an old guy so maybe I just wasn't patient enough?) All attending doctors very professional Good job - Thanks to all hands

Dr. Tayoun had done surgery on me in Feb 2013, a bowel resection, due to a mass. I had gone to the emergency room due to severe pain and was admitted on a Friday - scheduled for surgery on that Monday. Dr. Tayoun came to see me on Saturday, and on Sunday to assure me of what was going on, and then again on Monday morning to let me - and my family - know what time I was scheduled. All went well with the surgery and I was very pleased with his attention to detail with the followup visits. In December of 2013 it was discovered that I had an incisional hernia, at the lower region of my scar tissue, and my bladder was pushing through. Dr. Tayoun went in to repair what seemed to be a small hernia, but upon looking through the laparoscope he discovered the tissue had torn the length of the incision and was in critical need of repair. His expertise in repairing my near hernia, and the actual hernia itself has been commented on by a number of other professional. My trainer was surprised at how well I have developed my abs, even though the original scar runs from my sternum down to my pelvic area. During an evaluation by a VA doctor, I was to do a situp and the doctor there also commented on how well the repair seems to be. THe people at the Jennersville hospital surgery center are all great! They are kind, understanding, and very personable and caring individuals. The fact they send a hand signed thank you note afterwards blew me away. Dr. Tayoun has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have had take care of me. He takes his time to ensure you are comfortable with what will happen, and give you a thorough briefing on the procedure, and is always kind, and caring toward you both after your procedure and at your followup visits. As long as he is practicing surgery, I will rely on him to take care of any of my surgical needs. He actually showed more concern for my recovery and even concerns I had a year later, than my primary care doctor.
