Initially we were happy with Dr Dean. But there is a big problem with the ability of the staff to return calls or faxes. When we questioned Dr Dean about this problem he became very defensive. Frankly, we do not have room in our lives for this kind of frustration. So we are looking elsewhere.

I love that he was always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. He went above and beyond. I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when he told me about what they learned at the latest research he had done on my condition. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here.

He and his office staff do not return calls. After a test I had done, Dr. Dean told me to call the office the day after the test to get the results, well, it took me a week to get someone to call me back with the results. He is a very good neurologist, but when I was talking with him on the phone, he took a personal call that I got to hear in its entirety--very unprofessional in my opinion. Guess what, I am again waiting for test results, just hoping and praying my phone will ring. I work in the medical profession and, although he appears to be a knowledgeable neurologist, his professionalism and lack of concern for his patients is lacking. I know I am not his only patient, but he should consider the stress a patient goes through waiting for test results that will give a diagnosis that may change their life. Also, his nurse does not have the most pleasant attitude and can be rude on the phone.
