They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I was very satisfied with Dr. Rothwell himself but his nurses do not seem to have the same concern for his patients. As a matter of fact they are quite rude and seem to be put out when asked to help. I needed questions answer concerning a prescription that was not covered and talked to two different nurses about it. They acted frustrated with me for even asking, but finally one reluctantly offered to help. Not sure if she will actually follow through. I like Dr. Rothwell but not sure I will continue going to him after dealing with his nurses.

Dr. Rothwell treats the patient's cause of illness and not just the symptoms. He is dedicated to health, not wealth. Dr. Rothwell does not spend much time with the patient but is thorough enough. He does order a lot of lab tests so be prepared for that added cost. He has always correctly diagnosed any condition my family and I have suffered, from mono to hormone imbalance. He is very friendly and listens well. In contrast, his nursing staff is quite rude. I have witnessed them talk down to elderly patients like they are children. They treat you as an annoyance if you call with questions. They do not act as if they are there to help the patients. It is as if the patients are in their way. My daughter and I overheard a nurse speak so rude to a patient on the phone, then slam the phone down and loudly complain about the patient. My daughter became very uncomfortable to be examined. We then witnessed the same nurse treat a new patient very rude for not knowing the procedure to check in to be seen. We have considered finding a new physician because of the nursing staff. You just never know when they are going to be having a bad day and take it out on you.
