I like Dr. Canby, but she does not spend time to listen to your concerns! If your lucky enough to see her, she sees you once a year for pap and does it in five minutes and leaves!!! And you have to pay their high price bills. I would like her and her practice if she would spend more times with her patients. You never get to see her and whenever you do she just rushes to leave! Otherwise she is good. I like Pamela her nurse practitioner, atleast she spends little bit more time with you.

One of the first things I noticed about this business was the level of detail and attention to make the building handicap-accessible. Even the bathrooms were designed to be accessible with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and grab bars in the stalls. You could tell they really made an effort to accommodate people with all different needs. I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here.

After two appts with Dr Canby I switched docs. I would NEVER recommend her. Both times I saw her I waited over 45 min (and I wasn't late). She was quick, rude, didn't even introduce herself, said she worked with a resident who was actually a med student (big difference). Didn't congratulate me on my pregnancy or even sit down. Just swooped in and did a pap and then was gone. I thought she might be coming back or something but I wasn't able to ask her questions. Then she wouldn't even come to the front counter to let me ask her a question as I was checking out. Nurse gave me wrong information about certain tests when I came to my appt which says they lack communication at that office.

They fluff their billing because the hospital isn't doing well financially so you pay a lot more than you should.

To top it off, the office workers and the people who draw blood are rude and not very good at what they do. I have great veins and she had to stick me 3 times. I am so happy I switched doctors! Dr Canby is not the kind of doctor I want to be delivering my baby with. It's a very special time in a womans life and quite frankly, she ruined part of it for me.

I only gave the facility and accessibility those ratings because it is close to where I live otherwise it would have been lower.
