Dr. Gate's is one of the most approachable,knowledgeable,professional, Doctors I have been fortunate to have to explain and treat all of my chronic illnesses. Not only does she have professional and medical knowledge to treat my medical conditions, she also use her sense of humor to ease my anxieties. She is simply an excellent doctor and person.

I needed to come back to follow up on a rash as well as do a fasting blood check for levels. Dr Gates and I discussed my health challenges and she encouraged me to do some things to improve my health which would eventually improve my quality of life.

This was an early appointment which was a good time to go. All persons I encountered were most kind. Dr. Gates' assistant is most pleasant in asking questions and taking BP and temp. I have been with Dr Gates for many years and feel at ease when I have appointments with her. Dr Gates asked about my Doctor at Duke and I told her I had had a communication with a nurse and will follow up on that to find out if I will be going back for a 2 year check up there. This was my mid year check and I have a scheduled yearly check for January 2017.

My wait time before seeing Dr Gates was minimal. She answered all questions I had and ordered my prescriptions for me to pick up. I feel she diagnosed my problem correctly. I am getting better each day.

I was easily able to make an appointment, was seen very quickly, given options for care. Once I decided on a referral to an orthopedic practice, that process took a bit of time to coordinate, but am overall pleased with the entire process.

Called for an immediate appointment re: a possible infection. Could not get into my PCP, offered a dame day appointment with someone else. I liked her, too. (So far, I've been happy with all of the staff at Eagle.) Quick, easy assessment, full explanation, all my questions answered, good explanation of possible complication requiring immediate follow up , and the treatment cleared up the problem. What more could one want?

Dr. Donna Gates is an exceptional physician. She is skilled, knowledgeable, personable, listens well and cares about her patience and her profession. Dr. Gates probably saved my life on May 9, 2014 when the staff worked me into her schedule. She quickly assessed my situation and contacted the hospital. The hospital surgeon performed an emergency appendectomy on my inflamed and ready to rupture appendix. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Gates as my primary care physician.
