The chairs in their waiting room were pretty average. They weren't top-of-the-line but weren't uncomfortable either. They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous.

I just want to say that before today I thought Dental Associates was great but it only takes one rude person to make you never want to come back again. On our last visit the hygienist gave two of my children flouride treatments without asking my permission. If they would have asked, I would have said no. I was willing to overlook this as a mistake and paid for the treatments. Today I took my 7 year old daughter in for an exam only but didn't want any x-rays taken for her. My husband and I don't feel it is necessary for her to have them at this age. She did have x-rays taken about 2 years ago. I signed a waiver saying I refused the x-rays. The hygienist then talked to the pediatric dentist and she said she would not do the exam without the x-rays. They hygienist then started to prepare my daughter to clean her teeth even though I verbally told her I didn't want the cleaning and also signed a paper saying I didn't want the cleaning. After waiting for the pediatric dentist to finish with another patient, I asked her if I could make an appointment to have a procedure done to cut part of my daughter's gum which had grown between her front teeth. She said that my daughter would have to have bite-wing and pan x-rays as well as an exam before I could have someone look at it. I then asked her if I could have the procedure done for sure if I allowed the x-rays. She said no and then rudely said "I can't see you" and walked away. The hygienist then said she would have to cancel our appointment. In my opinion, this is very rude and unprofessional. Dental Associates has lost my business. It only takes one bad experience to make you never want to come back.
