I have been a patient of Dr. Bassiri's office for about 6 months. I was referred by a close friend whom is also military. Being military, I have been to several offices in diffrent states, and I can say this is the friendliest office by far. Dr. Bassiri is wonderful. The dental hygienist were professional, informative and great with my two small children. The font desk staff were also professional, informative and answered any questions I had about future visits and $ that I would be responsible for at that visit. I never felt like just a number. I am also disturbed to read the post below by a previous patient. Seems like everyone is quick to point the finger when they are obviously in the wrong. I have NEVER been to a dental office that did not charge a fee for missing an appointment. A 24 hour notice is all they had to do. Your wasting the Doctor's time and possibly causing another patient not to be seen because you have the appointment. I'm sure there is more to that story than is being told. I would highly recommend this office to anybody! Thanks to the entire staff of Pine Valley Family Dentistry for all you do!

My son (8 yrs) and I have been with Dr. Bassiri for about 2.5 years (Since 7/07). The dental care is great. The issue I had was that they cancelled my son's appt approximately 4 or so hours before his appt. Two days later I cancelled my appt due to an impromptu meeting that was being held at my work. I tried to cancel the day before because I got wind that a meeting was going to be called. The clerk said "well you will be charged for not cancelling 24 hours in advanced". I brought up that they did not give us 24 hours the day before. They stated well I did sign the paper. Today I got the 30.00 dollar bill and the sheet I signed it states they have "the right to" not that they will charge a late fee. What really bothers me is that she stated she would wave it this time on the phone. So of course I was confused when I got the bill. I think when you have been with a business that they would give you a warning so you don't make it a habit, but at the same time they cancelled my son's appt w/o notice and it took about 5 weeks to get that appt. I don't know for a fact that they filled my appt time, but like any other business I am sure they filled my appt after I cancelled. So I called to day and amazingly "the answer machine was on" so I left a message stating I would no longer be using them and would like my records. I asked them to contact me and tell me how to do that.

I am saddened that there is no customer loyalty and they claim to be military friendly. My spouse is in the military, I am a vet, and I work for DOD as a civilian GS worker. Dr. Bassiri's office really amazes me.

I am going to send in my 30.00 fee and will be using another dentist along with my son. The got me in right away. I told them what occured and they were understanding. I am sad that Dr. Bassiri did not feel he needed to keep a loyal customer, but that is his loss.
