I have used Dr. Hathorn since I was a child, and I currently use him as my child's pediatrician. The nurses are friendly, but that's about it. My biggest complaint is that the wait time in this office is way too long. If I have an appointment at 8am, I am guaranteed to not make it out of there until 1pm at the earliest. They don't have anything to keep the children entertained for these extremely long wait times. They have a TV that they rarely put movies on, but that's it. This doctor has way too many patients and the waiting room is often packed with no where to sit. Dr. Hathorn is best with newborns and babies in my opinion. Babies and newborns are seen in a timely fashion and it just seemed like he paid more attention to my concerns and child when she was a baby. I will say this though, if you have to call the calling service in the middle of the night even on a weekend, they will contact Dr. Hathorn and he will call you back very quickly. My daughter was hospitalized for a week and a half at Willis Knighton Bossier, and he dropped by every single day she was there. I was very pleased with that, seeing as how his office is over on the other side of town. He would be a great doctor if he wasn't so over booked all the time.

All the parents in my community respect them, and recommended that I bring my child there. Not only do they never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it. I spend a little too much time in the waiting room. I've waited longer at other offices, but I was hoping to be seen sooner. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years.

This pediatrician had two separate rooms for "sick" and "well" children. You could tell that they really went the extra mile in making sure that the healthy children didn't catch anything. The cologne they wore was nauseating. I wanted to cover my nose the entire time I was there. I could hardly stand being in the room. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. They always take the time to listen to me. I know they really care about me and what I have to say.
