I have been seeing Dr. Hutto for the last six years & I honestly don't know what I would do without him. He is the best doctor I have ever had- whether it be a psychiatrist or a doctor in another field. He genuinely cares about his patients & their welfare, but not only the patient, their families/support system also. He may be writing a lot, or on his computer, which I think is what people may be referring to in previous reviews as him having "no bedside manner" or being "cold," but he is absolutely listening to what you are saying & taking it all in to consideration when it comes to your treatment. He is an incredibly busy man, yet he has seen me on several emergency basis' within less than 12-24 hours. He has given me a great deal of hope for my future & is someone I regard very highly. I would recommend Dr. Hutto to anyone who TRULY wants help. I couldn't be more thankful for having him as my doctor for the past six years & for his staff also- all of whom are extremely friendly, polite, & kind. Dr. Hutto & his office staff are always willing to go above & beyond to help a patient in need & again, that truly wants it. (He has been in this business for over thirty years & knows when he is being lied to or manipulated, whether he chooses to come out right & confront you or not). He is the best doctor I could have ever imagined & I will never be able to thank him enough for what he has done for me. :)

Destroyed my life.... Without consulting my previous doctors to find out previous medications and dosage that worked I continued to trust this man.... I progressively became worse and worse and all he had to do was make a phone call. He then put me through ECT's without increasing medication first. I have experienced the worst episodes of depression and just the thought of this doctor and what he did to me makes me feel horrible and wretched inside. If you have any sense, think twice before going to this man.

Dr. Hutton is an amazing doctor. He cares and it is obvious. He treated me with respect and did not dismiss my complaints, as many doctors did.
He has helped me tremendously.

Dr. Hutto was very thorough with me during my first visit to him, but ever since then my dealings with him and his office have been worse than extremely poor!! The office staff does not answer their phone during ofc. hours - the answering service does. Then you're lucky if you get a return call in 3 days. When you do, both Dr. Hutto and his staff are the most uncaring people I have EVER experienced. Dr. Hutto is cold, arrogant, cocky, and was chomping on ice in my ear the last time he returned my call. This is a psychiatrist's ofc. for God's sake - half of his patients could commit suicide before getting any "help" from them. I have been trying for days to schedule a treatment plan to no avail. In the meantime, I am miserable and extremely depressed. Unfortunately there are not many psychiatrists who accept my insurance plan, and Dr. Hutto is the ONLY one who offers this particular treatment for people who are resistant to medications, which I am. I have reached the end of my rope and don't know where to turn. This "doctor" does not have one compassionate bone in his body!!!! DO NOT GO TO HIM!!

Not at all! They were boring and outdated
