I had ACL reconstruction and Meniscus Repair surgery with Dr. Keyes 10 years ago. I have since moved across the country and every time I am seen fo a checkup elsewhere (since I am now too far to go to his office), the other orthopedic doctors tell me what success my surgery it was because of my great recovery. As a matter of fact, after the surgery I went on to becoming my active self again, and have since completed two full marathons. Without a doubt, Dr. Keyes is simply the best and he has my highest recommendation! Not only is he a talented surgeon, but he has tremendous bedside manner. Going back to see him years later for another injury, he was able to recall the college I went to and that fact that I participated in intramural sports there. He definitely took a personal interest in my recovery which gave me total confidence in his ability.

Other than making an appointment all calls to this office are sent to a voice mail and not returned for 24 hours. Every time I come here I feel so unwelcome as soon as I enter the door. They can never seem to remember my name when I first arrive and always forget it throughout my appointment. Their staff is not friendly at all, in fact they are outright rude,arguementive and lazy. I didn't feel welcome there, not by the staff or Dr. Keyes. The staff and doctor give the impression they are superior to all who enter. Dr. Keyes rushes, barely sits down and acts annoyed when asked questions concerning surgery proceedures, prognosis and recovery. His answers are then short and curt. My general feeling is after 28 years of duties he is now burned out and is only in practice for the money, not for the well being of his patients. I would not recommend this doctor or his staff to anyone.

They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. I am always so impressed with how quickly my calls are answered here. I am never put on hold for a long time and love knowing that if I have a quick question I won't have to wait a half hour through terrible music to get it answered. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. They gave me sufficient information to make a decision about my treatment plan.
