I am a health professional and I have seen and been to several dermatologists in the Conejo in the last 20+ years. Dr. Bastien gives the most thorough examination of all. Consequently, he is busy and I cannot get a patient in ot see him without calling myself on their behalf. You might need to get your own personal doctor to call his office to make your first appointment - but it is worth it. I have seen patients who had skin cancer that were "missed" by other doctors, inlcuidng other dermatologists. Knowing the kind of exam Michael gives I know it would not have been missed if he did their skin exam. Dr. Bastien is also a dermatopathologist so he knows exactly where and how to take the all-important biopsies of suspeced lesions. He is a doctor's dermatologist. I could not recommend him higher.
