For quite awhile my son kept telling me to find a good chiropractor. I had back and hip issues and was getting no relief from other avenues I had tried.

My answer to my son was that "I do not have the time to spend in a chiropractors office."

I finally decided that it was time to find a local chiropractor. I began going to Dr. Colaizzo in early May. She took a detailed history and discussed how she would treat my arthritis and spinal stenosis.

After several treatments my wife noticed an improvement in my mobility. I was able to get up from the floor after playing with my grandson. Getting in and out of the car was easier.

In June we went on a vacation. I was thrilled to be able to go sightseeing daily with little or no discomfort.

Dr. Colaizzo and her associate, Dr Varga are always professional. The office staff is friendly and extremely efficient.

I am pleased to say that it was a great idea to listen to my son.

I have recommended this office to several friends.

My lower back problem stated after an injury I sustained as a teen. Throughout the past thirty years, I've always trusted chiropractic treatments to get better whenever my lower back pain flares up to the point where I couldn't handle my day to day activities. Recently due to my long distance running as I was training for a half marathon, I started having severe lower back pains. I came to Dr. Colaizzo for treatments. She was very thorough with her examination as well as explanations of what she was examining. Taking into account all my past injuries and looking at the x-rays she had ordered, she explained to me, in detail, what my problem was and why I got pain flare ups time to time. This is the first time I really truly understood the resulting damage (subluxation degeneration) caused by my injury, as well as the changes that takes place in the spinal column during aging. Her treatments included heat- electro- and ultrasound- therapy, positioning of spinal joints, stretches and massages. After two weeks, not only my pain was completely gone, I was also able to run and complete my half-marathon without aggravating my condition. She is very gentle with her treatments and I always felt extremely good after a session with her. I am continuing with the course of treatments she has planned for me. I highly recommend her and do so with no reservations.

I was experiencing lower back and arm pain. I met with Dr. Colaizzo and she planned a course of action. She spent time explaining everything. It was within several visits I started to feel some relief. She is friendly and caring doctor. Her staff was nice and efficient. I never had to wait for the doctor. It was a great experience and I highly recommend her

My experience at the Chiropractic and Therapy Center has been nothing short of brilliant. All staff members have always been friendly and helpful and show a positive attitude that is reassuring that I am in the right place to get relief from chronic back pain. After the positive experience from the front desk attendants, Dr. Catherine Colaizzo showed an honest demeanor in her methods of assessing if she would be able to help me with my particular back injury. After her first examination, she quickly made arrangements for me to get an x-ray so she could further determine the extent of my back injury. She instructed me to come right back after the x-ray and that she would wait. Keeping in mind that I was in extreme pain at the time, these quick and considerate concessions made for me were very considerate of my desire to start treatment as soon as possible and begin gaining some relief. After returning with the x-rays, Dr. Colaizzo instructed me to watch a video that explained the nature of my back pain and illness. The video was very informative and afterwards, the Doctor showed me my own x-rays and compared them to the healthy spine that was shown in the video. She then asked me where I saw a problem in my spine based on the x-rays, and because of the education received in the video, I was able to understand and identify the area of weakness. Dr. Colaizzo then told me she can treat my condition and set me up for immediate treatments. I have been seen three times a week for the past three weeks and my back has improved dramatically. I was so impressed by the entire Chiropractic and Therapy Center experience I referred my wife for treatment and I would highly recommend this office for anyone suffering from back pain.

Dr. Colaizzo is an exceptional chiropractor. I have been suffering from neck and back pain stemming from seven compromised discs (ranging in severity from slight bulges to herniations and extrusions, and complicated by stenosis throughout) for well over a decade, now. So as you might imagine, I've tried a number of chiropractors over the years.

My search ended around 3 years ago when I found Dr. Colaizzo. She is easily the best chiropractic doctor with whom I've ever dealt. The experience at Chiropractic & Therapy Center sets itself apart from other facilities I've visited in 3 very important categories.

1) Chiropractic skill/Quality of work ethic. Dr. Colaizzo is a gifted chiropractor who has a passion for, and pride in, her work that goes above and beyond what I've experienced anywhere else. Simply put, she's good at what she does and actually cares about the quality of life of her patients. When I'm there, I am made to feel as though I am her only patient. I never feel rushed or lost in the shuffle, and she formulates a plan specifically catered to me and my level of pain at any given time.

2) Promptness of paperwork preparation. I don't know about anyone else, but this one is HUGE for me. I am a field technician and, when the pain from my disc herniations have a particularly bad flare up, I sometimes have to take time off from work. I depend on that paperwork being completed promptly and accurately so that there is no interruption in my pay. And given that I have a family that depends on me, this is extremely important. This has been an issue at other places. Paperwork is tedious, and as such other places have tended to procrastinate. But Dr. Colaizzo always gets it done on time, and gets it done right. This takes a lot of stress off of my shoulders.

3) Quality of staff. The staff is amazing. They are very organized and keep the office running like a well-oiled machine. One appointment flows smoothly into the next, making wait times a rare event. And at the same time, the atmosphere they create is both warm and friendly.

I couldn't be happier with the service there, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a chiropractor.

My lower back was killing me 5 years ago. I could stand nor could I afford treatment because I didn't have great insurance. Dr. Colaizzo offered me a job and treatment for life. Today I walk with my head up big smile and no back pain . It's an honor to work for a wonderful chiropractor that cured my back pain.

Dr. Colaizzo has a great bedside manner and is a warm and caring person. She really takes the time to listen to your concerns and genuinely wants to help you feel better.
Some time had passed since my last adjustment and I was developing some back and neck pain (along with tennis elbow). Having recently had a baby and returning to work, my time was limited. I wanted to find a place that was easily accessible on my lunch break. After finding 3 in my immediate area, this one had the best reviews. After my first visit, I knew I picked the right place. Dr. Colaizzo took the time to explain to me what was going on with my body and the benefits of regular adjustments. After I had X-Rays done, she went through them with me very thoroughly and discussed what our plan of action would be to correct the issues. She is very flexible with my hours and considerate to my budget in working out different payment options and values.
We did try several different options as far as treating my tennis elbow. Though they were definitely effective, we decided that it was best if I tried something more aggressive. I really appreciated the fact that she knew when to let someone else 'take the wheel' for that complaint (She had referred me to a wonderful pain management Dr.!) instead of insisting on treating it alone.
I have had regular sessions for two months now with Dr. Colaizzo. And though I am feeling 100% better than when I first walked through the door, I plan to continue my treatment for maintenance to keep a healthy spine!
I highly recommend The Chiropractic and Therapy Center if you are looking to improve or maintain your health!
