Dr. Wittig removed a sarcoma from my thigh. He provided meticulous care, great surgical technique and his care and follow up were the best I have ever experienced as a patient and physician. His reputation is well deserved as the absolute best in the field.

Meeting a doctor and getting told you have cancer never makes for a good day. I had that experience with Doctor Wittig and immediately, I knew I was in the best possible place anyone in my situation could find themselves. Doctor Wittig can only be described as a caring, professional, and impeccably experienced practitioner who instills confidence in his patients with his abilities to address patient’s concerns while coordinating the best medical plan for a positive outcome. If you find yourself in a similar situation you can rest assured you are in good hands with Doctor Wittig.

Dr. Wittig is absolutely amazing! I felt extremely comfortable with him right away. From the moment he entered the room I immediately felt better and I wasn't scared of the tumor in the my leg anymore. I was able to get an appointment very quickly and very easily. Insurance problems were handled by his staff. I was scheduled for surgery 2 weeks later which i expected to have to wait longer than that. Post op I received phone calls from his staff members to see how i was doing. Some questions arose and I left a message at his office and was responded to by a clinician very quickly. Overall I am extremely pleased with Dr, Wittig and would happily recommend him to anyone.

Four weeks ago I had a revision of a plate in my Rt Femur, because the plate was moving away from my bone and causing pain which made it difficult to walk. The surgery was done by Dr Wittig and his team. They were professional, compassionate but most of all knowledgeable. They explained every step of the procedure to me and I know I had the best
care possible.

Dr. Wittig saved my life!! On January 2010 I was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma of my left femur bone. February 2010, Dr. James Wittig removed my entire left femur bone and replaced it with a prosthesis. It has been over 5 1/2 years and I have been alive, doing great and cancer free!! I would strongly recommend Dr. Wittig to anyone who needs an Orthopedic Oncologist!! God bless Dr. James Wittig!!!

I was referred to Dr. Wittig by another orthopedic surgeon. I had a total knee replacement done in 2006 and for the past three years my leg kept swelling on me. I come to find out that I fractured my tibia and had a lesion on the bone. Dr. Wittig took the old knee out and had a antibiotic spacer put in and two rods down the bone for six weeks. On 9/15/15 I had the new knee put in. Its been six weeks since the surgery and I feel good. I love that he spends time with you and listens to everything you have to say. He has a fantastic bedside manor and his office staff is always willing to help you. I would recommend Dr. Wittig to my family and friends in a heartbeat.

Dr. Wittig treated with compassion and I was 100% confident in his ability. He performed a limb sparing operation for me, which other doctors weren't willing to attempt. I traveled from Ohio to see him and I'd do it all over again. He's the best there is!!

What a fabulous experience I had with Dr. Wittig and his very large team!! I felt confident that I was in good hands and I was actually in GREAT hands. The knowledge and compassion this team has is far superior than any other doctor I have come across. I was happy that my tumor was benign, but regardless, I was truly put at ease from day one!
