Dr. Kozam spoke to me as if I was uninformed and stupid, (which I am not). Since I have a high deductible insurance and I have to pay for appointments out of pocket, I was annoyed that he insisted that I come in for an appointment to determine that I needed a colonoscopy, which my regular GP had already told me. I told the receptionist that I would rather not have a follow-up appointment unless there was a problem, and to let me know if this as the case. Two weeks later my GP called me to let me know that I had a problem which Dr. Kozam had not bothered to tell me, since I had not scheduled a follow up appointment. When I called his office the phone rang and rang and then he himself answered the phone. I asked him if he could tell me what my problem had been but he refused to talk to me without making an appointment. "After all you wouldn't ask your neighbor that was a plumber for advice about your plumbing problems would you?" I had already paid this man over $1200.00 for his services, including an almost $200 office visit that consisted of sitting in his office and being told about what I needed to drink before getting the procedure done. His attitude was condescending, patronizing, and rude. I would not go back to him and I would not recommend him to anyone. I told my GP that he should not refer him in my opinion, and I hope he takes my advice.

I went to see Dr.Kozam with test results I had gotten. I went to him for his doctoral analysis and he said because I had gone to another doctor to get the colonoscopy done, and I had not done it there he would not take care of me as a patient. A doctor should help someone when they come in need of his assistance. Doctors take the Hippocratic oath that says they are supposed to help people no matter what. Weather it be lack of money or anything else(which was not he issue ) I should not have been turned away based on the fact I had done my colonoscopy elsewhere. He clearly does not care about his patients. This was the second time I had come to him. I will never go to such an uncaring doctor. He is the WORST doctor.
