They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. My 17 yo son had 5 wisdom teeth cut out and went to work the next evening. He did not need the medication they gave him and did not use OTC. A friend of his had 4 wisdon teeth cut out by a Dr. in Roanoke and was laid up for 3 days on heavy meds. Dr. Wallace is GREAT!! He is a good ol country boy who wears cowboy boots at the office. I highly recommend hm. I was not sure if I wanted to use him after seeing these reviews but my insurance forced my hand and boy am I glad they did!
I took my 17yr old daughter there to have wisdom teeth removed. He was very rude. The very first question that came out of his mouth towards my daughter was " are you on any diet pills or program to lose weight?" My daughter replied back with "no sir" then he looked at her and said "well you should be"! I cant believe this man. I dont believe her weight has anything to do with her wisdom teeth! My daughter left his office in tears, and needless to say we did not let him touch her mouth. I do not recommend him to anyone!
Had recent dealings with this oral surgeon. Surgeon informed us that my child's surgery that was needed could not be done in his office. We were informed he would do the surgery at the hospital and would schedule that soon. Six months later doctor has yet to schedule surgery. I continued contacting the office and got a different excuse each time I called as to why it had not been scheduled. I would not recommend this oral surgeon for unprofessional service.
They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though they had my information right in front of them. They told me a little bit about my treatments' risks and benefits, but I still didn't feel like I knew as much as I wanted to know. I was never able to relax during my appointment. I was on edge the whole time. Their office was kind of gross. I felt like I was in an old horror movie about to have a procedure I didn't want. Also, I woke up completely while he was removing all 4 of my wisdom teeth. I felt him break one of them into 6 pieces. When I called the next day in severe pain. They told me to take ibuprofen. Although Dr. Wallace felt bad about it they did nothing to relieve my pain. He also gives off a very bad first impression. He was very rude until he could tell I was very distressed. As a 19 year old I would like a little more compassion from the doctor providing my care. Not to mention his staff was rude from beginning to end and get there an hour late for your appointment and you'll actually be on time; they make you wait forever. I would only recommend this office if you had no other choice.
