I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. It was nice to be acknowledged. I've never seen a provider look so unprofessional. They obviously do not care about their appearance here because they looked like slobs. They had quite a few interesting magazines, which made my time in the waiting room go by much faster. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily.

I have been seeing Dr. Will for almost 3 years now and I can honestly say that he has given me my life back! I have been to other pain clinics that go through the same template of treatment, but the staff at TCPC actually took the time to listen to my concerns and based a treatment plan around MY life and medical history.
I have and will continue to recommend his clinic to anyone who is experiencing chronic pain!

then Dr. Will is the doctor for you! After a 20+ year career in health services, I can honestly say that Dr. Will is the least empathic and most unprofessional health practitioner I have ever met. My 82 yr old mother has been his patient for quite some time. For 16+ weeks, she has suffered from chronic, severe pain in both hands/fingers. Dr. Will's efforts to treat her pain have been half-hearted at best, and the time between trials of different medications (while practice guidelines encourage an aggressive approach to pain control) has been slow and almost always initiated by my mother. A stoic woman, she has never been one to complain and I have rarely heard her speak ill of anyone. On at least 2 occasions, however, Dr. Will's total lack of concern led her to tell him that she wished he could experience her level of pain (not for very long; just a week or two) because then he might understand and expend more effort. When my husband (PhD psychopharmacologist and chronic pain patient who has received excellent care at Johns Hopkins) and I complained to Dr. Will and stressed the need to be more pro-active in my mother's care, we eventually were able to persuade him to prescribe Oxycontin (10 mgs; 3 times/day). As my mother began simultaneous treatment focused on the etiology of the pain (IV steroids), pain management became even more critical and we tried to slowly/modestly increase her dose (20 mgs; 2 -3 times/day). She began to experience nausea and while at first we judged it to be a side effect of IV steroids, a Hopkins colleague suggested it might be due to the higher dose of Oxycontin. On the Wednesday before a 4-day holiday weekend, my mother met with Dr. Will because he had wanted to stop the oxycontin completely due to her nausea. She had cut back to 10 mgs/day per his recommendation, and while the nausea lessened, 48 hrs later, at the reduced dose, her pain returned with a vengeance. As she sat doubled over, moaning with pain, Dr. Will ignored her, expressed no caring or concern and informed me he would prescribe no more Oxycontin. I reminded him I had obtained an appointment for her at Mayo Clinic in just 7 days, but she needed a short term pain management plan because I could not imagine her surviving that long with no pain medication whatsoever after 5-6 weeks of regular oxycontin use (and generally good results at 30 mg/day regimen). Dr. Will refused; he did not listen to any of the empirical literature or my husband's recommendations (from his physician who wrote textbook on pain management based on research findings). Instead, Dr. Will said he "disagreed" and sent my mother back home to face 7 days with no medical care for her pain. I guess Dr. Will missed the lecture in medical school where evidence-based practices were defined. He seems to think they are "what he thinks" rather than what science tells us.
