Absolutely not, the office was disgusting

The doctor did an adequate job at best. I don't feel like I was horribly treated, but she immediately told me I had gained too much weight by my second appointment (9 pounds at the end of the 1st trimester), jumped to conclusions regarding my diet and lifestyle, asked me TWICE in one visit about whether I wanted to schedule a Down Syndrome screening even though I declined and said "okay, so we're scheduling you for a Down's screening" as a third "offer". I get the feeling that I was not important as an individual, particularly at the first visit when the discovered heartbeat was met with a dry "congratulations". I was not measured ONCE during a visit. During one pelvic exam in particular she ignored my obvious pain as she moved uterus and baby all over. I'd gone to two tolerable visits and 30 minutes before my third and last visit, I was cancelled. My wait time for each appointment was about 40 min, but there's enough space and it's comfortable to wait. The staff are not unkind, but they seem greatly uninterested.
