Absolutely not! I was seen right away!

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

We took our 4 year old, autistic son to Dr. Alpan for allergy testing and had a very positive experience. Were able to get an appointment in a timely manner, nice office and nursing staff, didn't have to wait too long in the waiting room. Best part was meeting and working with Dr. Alpan. He was very compassionate with our son. Hard to explain, but his demeanor and attention to our son were respectful and full of empathy. It was really comforting.

Testing was straightforward, we were able to email observations on reactions to the nursing staff which made it easy and convenient. Based on the results, he helped us figure out which dietary items (many!) to avoid and referred us to a nutritionist to help us make a new eating plan.

Good doctor and practice in our experience.

I would not recommned Dr. Alpan. We saw him for our son because he was recommended by our pediatrician. He was awkward during the visit and we felt uncomfortable by his mannerisms and lack of verbal communication. My husband and I left feeling unsure of the visit and interest in our son's health. He did order testing, but never followed up with us to discuss. It was only when we followed up and one of his staff members let us know the testing was screwed up (months later). It was very disappointing and disconcerting to know we fell through the cracks in his practice. Our children are our biggest concern and we seek the best for them. I'm sure Dr. Alpan is a fine doctor, and probably better with adults, however we would NOT recommend for children, based on our experience.

There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. They had a huge selection of magazines in the waiting room. I was able to find some of my favorites and they kept me entertained while I was waiting for my appointment. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. Whatever cologne they were wearing was one of the best I've ever smelled. It made my experience that much more enjoyable.
