I have mixed feelings about Warren Dental Arts. I called at the end of May because I had a cav. that had gotten out of control and was causing a lot of pain. The receptionist was very nice and was able to schedule me for the following monday. At my appointment that day, everyone downstairs was very nice, the Dentist explained that although my cavity was bad, he didn't want to touch it until on of my wisdom teeth came out and explained it was causing an infection in my gums and thats why I was in so much pain. It only took him looking in my mouth for 30 to figure that out. He ordered some X-rays and put me on a prescrip for antibiotics and told me I had to see the oral surgeon and get my wisdom teeth out either that thursday or the next and then they would make the appointment to take care of my cav. I asked straight out so Ill get my tooth removed that day? Yup. And they told me the receptionist would give me a ball park on how much it would cost.
I went out front, made the next appointment, paid $140 for the one I had just had (I was ok with that cause I thought head way was actually being made on getting me out of pain). I talked to the receptionist for a few minutes and said.. so how much the next appointment going to cost me. She said $95 without a moments hesitation and I thought that was fine.
The week of my surgery came and I was in a lot of pain and out of antibiotics so I called to see if there was any way I could get a few days worth until my appointment on thurs and my dentist said no absolutley not, the antibiotics would be in my system until the tooth got removed thurs. By thursday I was miserable and Ibuprofen wasn't making a dent. I couldn't wait for my appointment.
This time it was upstairs. When I walked in, I waited at the window for 1-2 minutes before the receptionist acknowledged me, who then said oo you need to go through that door. So I went through the door and the receptionist on the other side hands me a clip board and sends me out to fill it out. 10 minutes later I got called back. This is where I get mad.
The nurse came in and pulled out my Xrays and had me sign a consent form. A minute later, the dentist walks in, gives me his name asks how I feel about being put under, has me open my mouth and looks and says "Yup tooth 17 needs to go, nice to meet you" and walks out. The nurse than told me to go up to the front desk and it would be 2-3 weeks before my next appointment.... umm what?
So I'm confused.. I walk out to the front desk and the receptionist says "ok that will be $67"... more confused. I called my dad in who came with so I wouldn't drive, and we explained we were told the extraction would take place that day and she goes "oo no that would be for a few more weeks, this was only a consultation today, So today cost $67, and the next will cost $650"... umm A. far cry from what I had been told and B. $67 for literally 1 minute of this doctors time???? $67.
I left there thinking A. Obviously isn't the place you go if you want the pain handled that week.
B. For one business, noone that works there obviously talks to each other based on the different prices I was given, the fact my dentist thought the tooth would get pulled that day, and why would I need consultations with 2 dentists IN THE SAME PRACTICE..
So what will $200 get you there? A combined 5 minutes face, time with employees, so that 2 nurses and 2 dentists can agree that tooth 17 does need to come out! Thats all.

I have anxiety when going to the dentist. The dentist and staff were all very kind. I went in with a toothache and he suggested two things. He distracted me so he could pull my tooth. I was in and out in about an hour.
