Dr. Awan's practice seems to be primarily immigrants from India and Pakistan, judging from patients in the waiting room. The practice is the old-fashioned type with just the doctor and one can either make an appointment or sign a list and wait to be called in. Depending on the time of day, walk-ins can expect to wait quite a while in the small, shabby waiting room. However, Dr. A himself is very careful and thorough, takes time to respond to questions and explain things, and listens to the patient. He takes insurance without any fuss. I do not see how he runs his practice without any help (maybe his staff are hidden somewhere)as he even answers the phone himself. Because he's accessible (you don't have to wait weeks for an appointment)and I have confidence in his good medical judgment, I'll keep going to Dr. Awan.
