Arielle Kushman, MD practices general cardiology and cardiovascular medicine at both NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and Lower Manhattan Hospital, where she is a full-time faculty member. Dr. Arielle Kushman was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard College and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She then completed both her Internal Medicine Residency and her Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Kushman's practice includes patients with coronary artery disease, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, valvular heart disease, congestive heart failure, and those who have undergone heart surgery and interventional procedures. She has a particular interest in Preventive Cardiology and Women’s Health. Dr. Kushman reads electrocardiograms, cardiac rhythm monitors, electrocardiographic and nuclear stress tests, and transthoracic echocardiograms, and she performs and reads transesophageal echocardiograms in the hospital. In addition to seeing patients in the office, she serves as an inpatient attending on the Cardiology Consult service, Cardiac Stepdown unit, and the Cardiac ICU.
