Hernan Parra Freitas, MD
Dr Freitas is an obstetrician and gynecologist. Dr Parra received his medical doctorate from Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia. He was a research assistant for the Division of Family Planning, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, and later was a clinical observer at Alivio Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2017 Dr Parra moved to NY where he joined the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program at Bronx Care Health System, and completed his training in 2022. He provides care at Montefiore Nyack Hospital on the labor and delivery floor as a hospital laborist.
