Dr Anam A Mazharuddin is a native Houstonian. She graduated summa cum laude from Klein High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from Rice University in Houston, Texas. She then went on to receive her Medical Doctorate from UT Health San Antonio and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, a national medical honor society. Dr Mazharuddin completed an ophthalmology residency at UT Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and received the Silver Scalpel Award for Best Surgical Resident. She is excited to return home to Spring and care for the patients in the community she grew up in.
