He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and later went on to earn his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. After medical school, he traveled to Michigan to complete his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Wayne State University.
During his residency, Dr Gambone developed dual interests in pediatrics and sports medicine. He went on to complete fellowships in Pediatric Orthopaedics at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and then in Sports Medicine at Penn State University.
