Jessica Warrick-Imrisek, MD, was born and raised in South Florida. She earned a bachelor's degree in construction management from Florida International University and worked for several years while marrying and starting a family. After having children, she felt the urge to work with children in some capacity to help them have a better life, but was unsure of how to turn that urge into a career.? After a life-threatening illness involving her 1-year-old, Dr Warrick-Imrisek spent months being exposed to several pediatric subspecialties during her daughter's journey to health, while also caring for her 4-year-old son and keeping his life as normal as possible.
