Dr Kovoor graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry as well as minors in Biology and Business Administration. He then received his medical doctorate (MD) and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Afterward, he completed a fellowship in Corneal Disorders, External Ocular Diseases, and Refractive Surgery at the renowned Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA.
