Since joining Montefiore-Einstein in April 2021, Dr Eikermann has overseen transformative change in the Department of Anesthesiology, including the integration of the anesthesiology service of Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital (part of the Montefiore Health System) and the creation of an Anesthesia Critical Care Division. He has overseen the department's launch of two new innovative fellowships: the Anesthesia Leadership and Executive Operations Fellowship as well as the Anesthesia Quality and Safety Fellowship.
