Dr Javaheri is a pulmonologist, and an internationally known sleep physician currently working at Bethesda North Hospital. He is Professor Emeritus of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and Adjunct Professor of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, at Ohio State University. He is known for his extensive research on various sleep disorders, including sleep apnea and cardiovascular disease, with an emphasis on heart failure, opioids-associated sleep apnea, and complex sleep apnea. Dr Javaheri completed his clinical and research fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
