Dr. Asamoah is a native of Ghana, Africa. He has lived in the United States since 1995. He received his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School and completed post-graduate training in general medicine in the UK. He completed a residency at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship at Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island.Dr. Asamoah is board certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, and internal medicine.
