Dr Parikh's clinical area of focus is on patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostate cancer and kidney cancer as well as primary and secondary liver cancer. As a widely recognized expert on the utilization of prostate artery embolization (PAE) for the management of patients with prostate cancer, Dr Parikh is dedicated to advancing innovative oncologic care and founded the PAE program at Moffitt Cancer Center in 2017 to help men who suffer from decreased urinary function. He has also published several manuscripts on the topic and currently serves as the primary investigator for a clinical trial studying the role of neoadjuvant PAE prior to definitive radiotherapy for men with prostate cancer (https://www.moffitt.
