He graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia with a degree in biochemistry. He then graduated from medical school at the University of Kansas - Kansas City. Dr Haynes completed his residency training in 2010 at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, receiving Outstanding Resident and teaching surgical skills awards.
