Dr Schietinger is board certified in Internal Medicine- cardiovascular disease. After earning his medical degree from University of Tennessee College of Medicine, he continued his training in Internal and Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Virginia Health System. There he completed an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship. He loves caring for the heart failure patients of Central Virginia. When he is not providing care at the Heart and Vascular Institute, he likes to spend his time with family and friends.
