She went on to finish her cardiovascular medicine fellowship at St. Vincent Hospital/University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA. Dr Sthalekar then went to Yale University School of Medicine/Yale New Haven Hospital to complete her fellowship in advanced heart failure & heart transplantation. As a former Assistant Professor of Medicine, Dr Sthalekar has experience teaching at both University of Connecticut and Michigan State University.
