As the Director of Orthopaedic Trauma at Boston Children’s Hospital, Dr Livingston is one of the few pediatric orthopaedic trauma specialists in the country. In this role, Dr Livingston has built a new clinical team structure for orthopaedic trauma care at Boston Children’s to streamline patient care and physician experience. She has also designed a family education program to get patients to the OR more expeditiously, outlined a clinical protocol for complex adolescent trauma, revised treatment protocols for common outpatient fractures, and defined levels of urgency for pediatric orthopaedic trauma diagnoses to help with OR triage.
