My name is Ivan Da Silva, MD, PhD, and I am a neurointensivist at UF Health and a clinical associate professor at the University of Florida Department of Neurology in the Division of Neurocritical Care. Prior to coming to UF, I practiced at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where I held the positions of assistant program director of the neurology residency program and director of the neurology residency research program. I was born and raised in Brazil where I attended medical school and residency in internal medicine at the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, as well as neurology residency at Universidade Federal Fluminense, both in Brazil . Following residency, I did a fellowship in medical critical care.
