Ellen E. Weinman, OTR, CHT, specializes in hand therapy, including fracturess, arthritis, amputations, tendonitis, nerve injuries, hand, wrist, and elbow injuries, tendon repairs, and impaired upper extremity use. Ms. Weinman has experience working with people of all ages.



Ms. Weinman has practiced with North Jersey Hand Therapy since 2006. She is Former Facility Director and General Manager of Occupational Therapy Staff for MARA Physical and Occupational Therapy in Springfield, New Jersey. She has been a staff occupational therapist for HealthSouth in Newark and Livingston, an administrative lead clinician for Morristown Medical Center Rehabilitation Institute in Morristown, a staff therapist for United Hospitals Medical Center in Newark, and a staff occupational therapist for Tri-Hospital Home Care. She is Former Director of Occupational Therapy at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.



Ms. Weinman says, "I believe in partnering as a team with my patient and her or his practitioner(s) to achieve the patient's goals and best possible outcomes."



Ms. Weinman is Former Vice President and Former Membership Chair of the New Jersey Occupational Therapy Association and Former Chair of the Occupational Therapy Advisory Council. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, American Society for Hand Therapists, and New Jersey Arthritis Foundation.



When she is not working with her patients, Ms. Weinman enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, walking, and listening to music.
