Dr. Ansstas is a board-certified gastroenterologist who completed an advanced endoscopic fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, which is one of the highest-ranked programs in the nation. He earned his medical degree from Tishreen University School of Medicine in Lattakia, Syria, and then went on to complete his general gastroenterology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Ansstas treats all disorders of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, including general GI disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatic disorders, esophageal disorders and biliary disorders.
