Dr. Pettigrew looked back at my records and told me that my A1C had been continually going up for at least 2 years. I feel that this should have been addressed by previous doctors. I had never been told that I had type II diabetes and it was never treated. I had been told 20 years ago that I had metabolic syndrome, but no one ever offered a treatment or solution. I am very happy with Dr. Pettigrew who insisted on seeing me before she went on vacation rather than making me wait until she returned. Looking forward to working with her to recover my health and prevent future problems that can be rectified with the right treatments. I am feeling relieved about my health and have some hope that I can start feeling better and have some control over my life.
