Dr. Olson is a Board Certified Family Physician who attended The Medical College of Georgia for medical school and subsequent residency. With over 21 years of experience practicing medicine, Dr. Olson specializes in preventative medicine, encouraging people to be proactive about their health to avoid disease. While she has been professionally based in the Southeast states for her career, she has made numerous oversea missions to deliver medical care, starting with an early stint as Medical Receptor Missionary in Eku, Nigeria, continuing to multiple to medical missions in Romania and short term medical trips to Guatemala and Honduras. She is currently a member of both the Alabama Academy of Family Physicians and the Baptist Medical/Dental Society. When not travelling or helping others maintain their wellness, Dr. Olson enjoys spending time at her home in Irmo with her husband, and daughter. The physicians of Providence Family Medicine's Lexington office are specially trained to diagnose and treat the broad spectrum of illnesses that effect both young and old individuals.
