Ashley Benda
Dr. Ashley Benda is a board-eligible obstetrician-gynecologist and a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She received her medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Touro University California in Vallejo, CA and completed her residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. Born in Los Angeles and raised just outside of Chicago, Dr. Benda is pleased to now serve the community of Thousand Oaks. Dr. Benda speaks both English and Spanish. Her clinical interests lie in contraceptive technology and laparoscopic surgery. She seeks to meet her patients' goals and desires with the latest in evidence-based therapies. Dr. Benda's early passion for what is now known as body literacy sparked her initial attraction to the field of OB/GYN. No matter your stage in life?from adolescence to adulthood, pregnancy to postmenopause?Dr. Benda aims to help you know your body and the changes it's undergoing so that you may be armed with the information you need to make the best medical decisions for your lifestyle. In her free time, Dr. Benda enjoys yoga, hiking, gardening, and testing out new recipes in the kitchen.
