Dr. Abramova completed her medical school training at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and served her residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, where she was named chief resident in her final year. She completed her specialty training in rheumatology at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital. During her fellowship training, her research interests included cardiomyopathy in Sjögren’s syndrome and molecular genetic analysis for periodic fever syndromes.
