Dr. Anand earned his medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he also completed his medical residencyŒæand fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology. He completed a second fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
