A desire to take care of people and make a difference in their lives led Dr Anna Stecher to pursue medicine as a career. She values being with people during major life events and helping them through both joyous and difficult times. She also likes the combination of office and surgical care in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr Stecher sees adolescents and adults for all obstetric and gynecologic concerns, including contraceptive counseling, pre- and post-natal care and minimally invasive procedures. She believes in providing her patients with information about their bodies, the treatment options available and her recommendations so they can decide the course to pursue. She also likes to look at natural options, based on the patient's desires.
