Tanglez Hair and Nails is located on St Petersburg Beach and owned and operated by Babette Afentakis and Darlene Kay. Babette has been in the business for 39 years. Schooled in Indiana, she has cut and styled hair on the beaches for 31 years and owned Babette's Salon on Blind Pass Rd. for 7 years. Darlene has been in the business for over 42 years. She did all her schooling in New York state and after several years moved down to Florida to pursue her career at Joseph's on St Petersburg Beach and Island Salon on Isla Del Sol for a total of 22 years. Darlene has been doing hair in Florida for 39 years. She decided to venture out on her own with her partner Babette on St Petersburg Beach and they have owned for 15 years, sharing in an equal partnership, hence Tanglez Hair and Nails. Tanglez caters to tourists and locals whom have been loyal for over 20 years. Thank you for helping in creating a very successful business, your patronage is much appreciated!
