Dr Larry P Alexander was born and raised in Houston, received his Bachelor's of Arts degree with High Honors in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, and graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1978. After completing a three-year residency in Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans in 1981, Dr Alexander moved back to Houston where he did a fellowship in Anterior Segment and Oculoplastic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston under Dr Milton Boniuk. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
